PEOPLE NEEDED

If you are, or know of, someone who might be interested in volunteering for any of the acting roles below, please join us for one of our two audition times, March 16th or 19th. Click on the “calendar” button for more details. If you are interested in helping behind-the-scenes as one of the crew or volunteers listed below, please let us know by clicking on the “contact us” button. You can also contact us if you’d like more information about a specific role/position or if you have any questions. No experience is necessary for any role/position, but it is preferred. Episode 1 will be shot during the months of May and June 2022, and Episode 2 during the months of July and August 2022. Most production days/times will occur on Saturdays, but others may occur on Sundays or weeknights. A detailed production schedule will be available in April.

PRODUCTION CREW

BOOM OPERATOR
Record, operate and monitor sound from a boom microphone. Must be able to hold and position a microphone on a boom pole for extended periods of time.

CONTINUITY/SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
This crew member has two distinct roles:
Continuity Supervisor - Makes sure that actor’s clothing, makeup and hair maintains continuity between scenes, and that blocking and actions maintain continuity between takes.
Script Supervisor - Logs shots indicating good and bad takes as identified by the director, checks shots off of the shot list, and makes sure lines are spoken correctly for each take.

ART DIRECTOR/PROP MASTER/CLAPBOARD OPERATOR
This crew member has three distinct roles:
Art Director - In charge of the look and aesthetics of sets/locations, including recommendations and implementation of set furnishings.
Prop Master - In charge of all hand props and prop management
Clapboard Operator - marks clapboard, calls out scene/takes and claps the board

CAMERA OPERATOR
We are exploring the possibility of shooting with 3 cameras for select scenes. The camera operator would record using a Canon 4K DSLR camera. Must have a basic understanding of shot composition and DSLR cameras.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS

MARKETING ASSISTANCE
Help with getting the word out through social media, newsletters, press releases, or any creative way to alert the public about the project for different events like auditions and public screenings as well as progress updates.

PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Arranging and shooting professional or semi-professional images of the cast to be used as cover art and for promotional purposes.

CATERING ASSISTANCE
Help with planning, gathering, and preparing snacks/meals for the cast and crew at sets/locations.
